March Update

Hello everyone!

 

Well I am back in Thailand and had to hit the ground running so to speak.  I came back with a team of friends from America and we headed straight for the jungles to conduct two seminars.  The first seminar was hosted at my children's home and we had over 100 people attend.  For the concert outreach we had more than 200 people.  It was just awesome! There were Thai people outside drinking and smoking and hearing the gospel while they watched Christian young people singing and dancing and having way more fun worshipping the Lord than the drunk people outside.  It was fantastic.  It really was a youth revival and for me personally it was something I didn't think I would see for years.  We always say revival is coming to Thailand but now we say revival is here!  It is an amazing thing to have your dreams come true, a dream you have sacrificed for and given your life for and see it happen sooner than you ever expected. 

 

It only grew from there as people were healed - two deaf people and others also.  We preached the word of God but it seemed more than anything the Holy Spirit was doing His own ministry.  It was apparent from the begiinning that while we had our plan God was going to do just whatever he wanted and was not even being polite about it.  Many people were filled with the Spirit, prayed and prophesied over and people fell under the power of God and there was a freedom in worship that we have never seen before.  Then we took them to the village and had a leadership conference there.  When the team ministered to the kids on the Holy Spirit we had over 60 children filled with the Holy Spirit.  Words just can't express it. It is a miracle - all of it.  God is awesome and again it is something I have dreamed about and I am watching it happen before my eyes. 

 

So since then I have been ministering in the village just building and teaching them before I move from the village.  For those of you who don't know.  I will be moving down to live full time at my children's home.  I am keeping my house in the village and still will come sometimes to minister there and my heart will always be there but me and the pastors I live with there are moving from our little village to the big town in the area to build a Center for Revival.  This will be a children's home, worship school and bible school.  It will be a place where people can come and experience revival and be trained to take it to their villages.  Our focus will be to train worship leaders and others to lead this revival in their villages.  We need to move the children's home because we are being evicted from the land we are on by the government who owns the land and has only let us use it free.  It is a good thing because we need a much bigger facility to do what God has called us to do and the schools in the nearby big town are much better and they even have a highschool which we don't have in our little town now. 

 

So it is a big project and will require a lot of money so we need prayer.  I need so much prayer!  I am so overwhelmed with what God has called me to do and with the decisions and the responsibilities I have now that I don't even try to think and figure it all out.  I just say okay God you just tell me what to do cause I am sure I don't know and I can't do it!  So I just wait until I hear from Him and that's what we do.  It seems to be working and it is keeping me sane and very happy and excited in spite of everything going on around me.  So please pray for us and for me.  God is just doing this great big awesome thing and I cannot figure out for the life of me why He chose me to be here and help Him with all this but He just did so we have to go with it and know God will work it all out.  I think when I die I want this saying written on my tombstone "It was all so impossible but it happened anyway!" Amen!

 

 

So I am coming back to America very soon.  March 11 to be exact.  It seems so soon as I just got back but I want to go when my children are on their summer break so they are home with their families when I am gone.  This way I am not away while they are at the children's home.  I have many opportunites to preach while I am in America and share what God is doing in Thailand and give people the opportunity to be apart of it.  So if you would like me to come speak at your church or group please contact me via email or my mom at 419-350-0166 who is handleing all my scheduling.  So please keep praying all of you!  You are all apart of it with your prayers and giving and I know you are all so blessed for your commitment to me and what God is doing through us in Thailand.
